Introduction

Patti Cramer is a multidisciplinary artist based in Amsterdam, moving fluidly between fashion, photography, drawing and sculpture.

Working across disciplines, she creates visual narratives through collaborations with artists, designers and cultural institutions. Her practice is defined by an intuitive approach to image-making, material, silhouette, texture and composition — moving between commissioned and self-initiated work in Amsterdam, Antwerp, Paris and Berlin.

Biography

About

Patti Cramer is a multidisciplinary artist based in Amsterdam.

She holds a BA in Textiles from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, where she developed a practice that moves fluidly between fashion, photography, drawing and sculpture.

Working across disciplines, Patti creates visual narratives through collaborations with artists, designers and cultural institutions. Her work has taken her to creative centres including Amsterdam, Antwerp, Paris and Berlin.

Her practice is defined by an intuitive approach to image-making, material, silhouette, texture and composition. Moving between commissioned and self-initiated work, she creates images and objects that are both visually precise and emotionally expressive.
